(More info.)Additional Codecs Note: VirtualDub uses a combination of plugins for codecs (see above) and codecs on the local machine, so if you wish to use a non-standard codec like DivX or XVID, you'll need it installed. The audio display in VirtualDub displays a visualization of the audio track for spotting errant sounds and good editing points. Plugins Pack: The VirtualDub Portable Plugins Pack adds FLIC, FLV, Matroska, MPEG-2, AC-3 and WMV codecs. VirtualDub allows audio and video streams to be processed in direct mode. Video codecs are external drivers created by third parties and are not part of VirtualDub. Run PlayOnMac, select Install > Install an application not included in the list > Install the application in a new virtual drive > Install some library > POLInstallvcrun6 > Explorer and choose VirtualDub Mac.
